The Sisters of Divine Providence in Latin America and Mozambique are in the process of restructuring their provinces with a view to a single province. In order to get each other better known, considerations were made and a way was sought to communicate with each other and share their Mission. This is how the "News magazine COMPARTILHAR" was created.
To represent the search for unity, we asked the artist Anderson Pereira to create a symbol for it. The Flames with warm colors speak of a dynamic movement that symbolizes the spirit of love and justice. The curved path, which goes from bottom to top, points to the hopeful horizon and is announces the New Day! The large hands, which support each other in solidarity, recall the presence of God with his creative hands, who shape the new creation through the hands of new women and men. The female hands in different colours point to the presence of women who courageously embrace the mission in an attitude of hope for unity; they also show the richness of ethnic and cultural diversity. The entire picture presents the silhouette of Latin America as a sign that the charism of the Sisters of Divine Providence is present on this Continent.
We are pleased to announce that the No. 1 of this News magazine has been sent to the e-mails of the communities of each province and region. It is also available online and can be read at the following link: sdp-al.org.br . This media can strengthen our desire for unity. We rejoice and make it available to people who want to get to know better our lives and our mission in the service of the Kingdom of God.
May Christmas liven up our hope! May Christ, who comes to us, bring health to all, so that we may experience a happy New Year!
